At New Plymouth Auto-Electrical all of our technicians are qualified and expert in their field and are dedicated to improving your motoring experience.

To help us ensure you do not get any surprises please take notice of these terms of service:

  • Our staff take morning tea, lunch and afternoon tea breaks – if you have called in for assistance during this time without a prior booking please be patient – we will make sure someone attends to you as soon as possible.
  • There is a high chance the person serving you at reception is part owner of the business and the same person who does the invoicing – so just be nice!!
  • Visual inspections/repair assessments and estimates may incur a minimum $65 charge (plus GST).
  • Quotes will not normally be provided however we are happy to advise an estimate, which is subject to adjustment depending on the final time spent or parts purchased. Occasions where time spent may exceed the estimate are vehicle make and model, previous work carried out on the vehicle, speciality or unique aspects of the vehicle and/or repair. You will be advised when the estimate time has been reached or will likely be reached and be provided a further estimate.
  • All invoices are required to be paid in full or payment arrangement agreed before the parts/vehicle will be released.
  • Overdue invoices may incur a late payment penalty of 15% and may also incur debt collection fees;
  • Vehicles not collected upon completion of the job remain on our premises at the owner’s risk. In the event a vehicle is not collected as arranged a storage fee of $25.00 per day may apply.
  • If you wish to retain any parts removed, please advise us at the time of booking otherwise they will be responsibly disposed of within 3 days of completion of the job.
